Forbidden City
故宫博物院
Hall of Central Harmony 中和殿

On the west side as you come around the Hall of Supreme Harmony the terraces are the same as on the east side but the stair treatments differ. Behind the Hall of Central Harmony 中和殿 (Zhōnghé Diàn), the Hall of Preserving Harmony 保和殿 (Bǎohé Diàn) is the last of three main palaces (故宫三大殿, Gùgōng sān dàdiàn). The happy, but wet, group is part of an interdisciplinary team of teachers studying in China on a Fulbright-Hayes grant that some friends and I put together.
