Pottery Designs from the State of Qin in the Warring States Period 战国秦

The Kui is a one legged mythical beast who is said to live in the mountains. The Kui is associated with rain and invented music and dance. The Kui has accumulated many characteristics over time and geography as different subcultures added their beliefs and these were amalgamated under centralism. This tile end dates to the Warring States period and was found in the area of the Qin State, in what is now central China.
