Yu Hua Wu Ji Tile End
与华无极瓦当
Pottery Designs from the Western Han Dynasty 西汉 206 BC - 8 AD

Boundless beauty is the image created by the saying Yu Hua Wu Ji 与华无极. There are many poetic idioms in Chinese literature that create pictures or thoughts of natural beauty. A poem might simply have four characters and include the characters from mountains and rivers and poetic context is assured. Because the Chinese characters are symbolic in nature, they carry or can carry many different levels of meaning. There is a stronger visual aspect to the poetry due to pictographic aspect of the language.
