Hollow Brick Decorated with Stamped Designs
Pottery Designs from the Western Han Dynasty 西汉 206 BC - 8 AD
These hollow bricks were used as decorative accents. They were hollow to make firing them easier, save material, and make them lighter to move. They weren't used as structural members so strength wasn't an issue.
