The Seals of Administrative Officials
官印

Above and below are examples of official seals of various administrators of the Han dynasty. The clay seals come from Donghai Prefecture in today's Jiangsu Province, Guanghan Prefecture in today's Sichuan Province, Youlin and Hupu Prefectures in today's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Here is a list of some of the examples so you can see the nature and variety of titles:

-Chang Zhong Lang Jiang - leader of the court gentlemen in the Chang Le palace

-Wu Guo Shu Du Wei - the mentor of Gong Long Marquis

-Ling Guan Dao Zhang - chief defender of Long Guan Pass

-Ping Gang Cheng - vice-magistrate of Ping Gang country

-Dang Cheng Wei - district defender of Dang Cheng country

-Dong Hai Shou - governor of Dong Hai Prefecture.
