Yu Yuan Tan Park 玉渊潭公园

Spring flowering in Beijing comes in successive waves of color, beginning with azaleas and ending with a barrage of roses along roads, in parks, and in planters in the most unlikely spots. In between, the cherry (樱 yīng) trees bloom. In Yu Yuan Tan Park (Yù Yuān Tán Gōngyuán) on the west side of Beijing, the cherry trees are dense. There are also a profusion of plum trees.
