Yu Yuan Tan Park 玉渊潭公园

Spring flowering in Beijing comes in successive waves of color, beginning with azaleas and ending with a barrage of roses along roads, in parks, and in planters in the most unlikely spots. In between, the cherry ( yīng) trees bloom. In Yu Yuan Tan Park (Yù Yuān Tán Gōngyuán) on the west side of Beijing, the cherry trees are dense. There are also a profusion of plum trees.
