Roof Tile

This roof tile has two outer supports built into the pottery. They are the equivalent of pegs used to hold the tiles together and to the timbers of the sub-roof. The tile dates to the Zhou Dynasty (1027 - 771 BC). It was excavated in Zhouyuan, Fufeng County.
