Gold Sheep-Tiger Ornament for a Horse

This gold trinket was used as an ornamental piece on a bridle or harness for a horse. It is in the shape of a tiger's body with the horns of a ram. It was found at a site in Majiazhuan, Fenxiang County. It dates to between 770 and 475 BC during the Spring and Autumn Period of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty.
