Spring and Autumn Period
Gold Horse Ornament

This gold ornament, shaped like a ram, is also a piece intended to decorate the livery of a horse. It was found at a site in Fenxiang County. It dates to between 770 and 475 BC, during the Spring and Autumn Period of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty.
