Silver Deer at Rest - Funerary Object
银卧鹿   随葬品

It is fortunate that this was a burial object as it preserved it for the future, but something of a shame that something this well done was hidden for so long. The deer dates to the Han Dynasty (202 BC - 220 AD) and belongs to the Xiongnu culture. It was excavated from a site in Shenmu County.
