Tang Dynasty
Tri-colored Barn Funerary Object
三彩仓   随葬品

This tri-colored barn was excavated at Hanzhou City. It was used as a burial object in the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907 AD). Tri-colored porcelains were an innovation of the Tang potters. You will see many examples in the next pages. The ceramics became more detailed, expecially as compared to the Han Dynasty, but even in comparison to the early 6th century.
