Tri-colored Pottery Urn
三彩四教塔式罐   随葬品

This tri-colored pottery urn has four stories of filial piety engraved into the pottery and then colored with the glaze. A detail of one of the insets is shown on the next page. The urn was used as a burial object in the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907 AD). The urn was found in 1974 in the tomb of Qi Biming in Xianyang City.
