Gold Running Dragons

These gold dragons are in running position. Dragons are usually shown twined around in swimming position. They were made during the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907 AD) as works of art. They date to the central prosperous era between 684 and 755 AD. They were excavated in Hejia Village, Xi'an.
