African Queen is set in Africa, in 1915, in the midst of World War I. A Canadian and an English woman are thrown together as a result of the war. It was made into an Academy Award winning motion picture in 1951. The present radio production was aired Dec 15, 1952 on the Lux Radio Theater. The script was adapted by S. H. Barnet. The show was produced by Mr. Irving Cummings, who is also the announcer.
